Privacy policy
Insai (Insai Neurotechnology, Copenhagen, Denmark) runs a simple marketing site at insai.tech. We collect very little personal data through it, we do not sell it, and we do not run advertising trackers. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use a contact or download form, we receive the details you enter: your name, work email, organization, role, and any message. Form submissions are handled by Formspree and delivered to our inbox.
- Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, rough location, device type). Analytics only load after you accept in the cookie banner; decline and they stay off.
- Server logs. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may process standard technical data such as IP address for security and delivery.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and follow up on what you asked about or downloaded.
- To understand which content is useful and improve the site.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell or rent it, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Cookies
The site sets analytics cookies only if you accept them. There are no advertising or third-party marketing cookies. You can change your choice any time by clearing site data in your browser.
Who processes your data
- Formspree — form submissions.
- Google Analytics — usage analytics (consent-based).
- GitHub Pages — hosting and delivery.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email mark@insai.tech and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority (in Denmark, Datatilsynet).
Retention
We keep inquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, then delete it. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard settings.
